- Add chopped tomato n cook until soft n mashy. Add all the powdered masalas mentioned above and ginger garlic paste. Add some water n mix everything well. Cook on medium to low flame until the masalas cooked well or oil floats on top.
- Add boiled tuvar daal to the masala n mix well. Add enough water to adjust consistency.
- Let the daal boil for 2 3 minutes until it reaches to desired consistency. Add chopped coriander leaves n kasuri methi as garnish n mix well.
- For tadka of daal fry, heat some oil. Add cumin seeds, mustard seeds n curry leaves. Add dry red chilli n switch off the flame. Add red chilli powder n add the tadka to daal.
