- 1 tbsp Oil
- 1 tsp Mustard seeds
- 1 tsp Cumin seeds (jeera)

- pinch Hing
- 1 tsp Chopped curry leaves
- 1 tsp Green chilli chopped (optional)
- For Garnishing (optional)-
- As required Coconut grated
- as required Coriander leaves chopped

- Mix all ingredients of batter except eno. Beat properly.
- Add water to reach idli consistency. Cover and keep aside for 15 min. Meanwhile grease a container for steaming.
- After 15 mins, add eno and add lemon juice over it. This will activate the eno. Mix properly and immediately pour in the greased container, and then keep the container for steaming. I've used idli container for even steaming.
- After 15 min on medium flame., check if fully cooked. I switched off the flame and kept the dhokla untouched for 5 more minutes to get rid of stickiness.
- For tempering, add mustard seeds to hot oil. Once it starts sputtering,add other ingredients one by one.
- Add the tadka oil evenly over the dhokla..
