- Pressure cook the dal upto 3 whistle..let cool down
- Take a pan,add oil add onion and saute it then add garlic, ginger and green chilli and roast it,when it turns golden brown add all dry masala and give a quick mix then add cooked dal and mix it well. Let the dal boil for 3 to 4 min on slow flame, turn off the flame,temper with jeera,mustard seed and hing some red dry chilli, garlic, ginger and pour it on a dal and garnish with fresh coriander. Serve this dal with steam rice or jeera rice
- In a bowl,boil the 2 glass of water,when water gets boiled add rice (washed and soaked in water half n hr),add salt a mix it properly.Allow rice to cook,after 10 minutes check the rice is cooked,if the rice are soft and broken drain the water from rice and cover the lid,and allow to cook for 5 to 6 min on low flames.
